It is a pleasure to suffer. Beyond that, it's a privilege.
Being able to apply pressure to oneself, in order to grow through suffering, is an opportunity that should not be wasted. There is so much you can learn about yourself by challenging yourself.
If there is challenge, you are forced to access inner resources you would otherwise have no reason to call on.
What a pleasure it must be, to let out your true potential!
What a waste, hiding that resolve from the world.
Without suffering you are not forced to challenge your inner ethos. Challenging your own views is how you know if they're solid or substantial enough. If you're afraid of having your worldview questioned, maybe you know your castle is built on a beach of sand. Doing things that make you question your very existence is the stuff of life. Grow deep roots, become strong and lay the foundations of your opinions on foundations of stone!
The suffering you try and avoid is the pain you willingly accept. The suffering you choose is the freedom you manifest, through overcoming it.
Do something every day you do not enjoy. Conquer that which you would rather avoid and see the influence of control you have over your emotions, thoughts and dreams expand.
Embrace the pain, and you will win this game.
Find freedom.
Life is what you make it.
